Dwight IL Womens Correctional Facility.
This prison system is located in Livingston County in Central IL., just outside of Dwight, IL.
This was a maximum security prison for adult females and housed the states female death row.
This prison was originally opened on 11-24-1930 as the Oakdale Reformatory for Women.
This image is a member of the Photo Art series.

It simply never occurred to me that the prison was so stunningly serene. BRAVO!!!
