Description
Autumn Fishing At Argyle Lake in Heirloom Finish.
This image is also available in FULL Color.
Argyle Lake State Park is located in Colchester, Illinois.
The 1,700-acre park is home to the 93-acre (artificial) Argyle Lake which is known as a fisherman's delight.
The lake is stocked with bluegill, redear, channel catfish, largemouth bass, crappie, tiger muskie and rainbow trout.
Rich in local history, Argyle Hollow (now occupied by the lake) once was part of the stage route between Galena and Beardstown. Several times a week the high-wheeled, cumbersome coaches with their double teams of horses rumbled through these beautiful hills and valleys.
Note: If an image has the FAA watermark in the lower right hand corner it will NOT appear on any print you purchase.
