Description
Yellowstone Park A View Of Old Faithful Just Starting Vertical.
This late July / August road trip of 3,280 miles would take us through the western side of Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming and South Dakota.
This image is from the series The Beauty Of Yellowstone which can be found in my FAA Yellowstone National Park gallery.
Yellowstone was the first National Park in the United States and maybe the first in the world.
Yellowstone is located in the states of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho.
On this trip we stayed in Cody Wyoming about 60 miles East of the Yellowstone East Entrance gate.
Note: I would like to give a personal Shout Out and Thank You to the Great Folks of Wyoming that we interacted with for making me smile so much.
Having been to this Beautiful Volcanic National Park before we tried something different and signed up for a tour package.
The logic was simple, whoever is the driver never really gets to view the scenery in a laid back tourist kind of way.
We spent twelve great hours nine of them in the park enjoying the Wyoming landscape and was taken back to see the mountain range on fire as we approached Cody in the evening.
All images and artwork from our time in Wyoming can be found in my FAA Wyoming gallery.
This series The Beauty Of Yellowstone will give you a visual tour From my eyes, through the view finder to the click of the shutter. I hope you enjoy these moments in time that have been captured which include: Old Faithful; Bison; Elk; Signage; Yellowstone Lake; Abyss Pool; Black Pool; Blue Star Spring; Chinese Spring; Firehole Spring; Goggles Spring; Heart Spring; West Thumb Geyser Basin; Artist Point Lower Falls; Firehole Falls; Kepler Cascades Water Falls and the Upper Falls.
Most of the above locations are available in Collages and some are in Black and White and Panorama format.
